Improved sensing properties of Zinc Oxide gas sensor to detect hydrogen gas by using ZIF-8

In this research, ZnO nanorods were utilized as gas sensor materials for detecting toluene vapour and hydrogen prior to following the use of Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks-8 (ZIF-8) filter. On porous Al2O3, ZIF-8 was deposited thickness 200 nm. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), XRD, sensing tests used examine material characteristics regarding ZnO. Thin films' sensitivity selectivity different gases such C7H8 H2 also investigated. Comparing with pristine sensor, is highly sensitive H2, whereas nanostructure ZIF8 has significantly selective response gas.
